Work continues with the repair and maintenance of the pegs on the water. The club has embarked on a comprehensive planting program on Mobberley. Large Coir rolls have been purchased and installed to the banking where required. These rolls help to reduce erosion helping to shore up the banking and can be planted into. This forms part of the clubs informed plan to combat and eradicate the weed issue on this water. The two floating islands have been repaired following damage caused by the Canada geese that have been visiting the water. These have temporarily been placed in the bays to provide shelter for fish stocks from Cormorants. These again will be planted and maintained. please take care when fishing close to them.
An line disposal bin has been erected in the car park area, please use it and help to maintain our environment.
Shepherd's
Phil and Neil have been repairing and improving some pegs this will be on going through out the year.
Spraying took place in early September on the lilies by members of our water management team. We hope to see a marked improvement with a reduction in coverage following this work next spring and summer.

Work has been carried out to remove a lot of the dead leaf from around the edges of the water and a large amount of duck weed was removed during a recent club work party. The club are looking to embark on a targeted planting program on this water to help with the eradication of the duck weed problem. This forms Part of an ongoing informed action plan.
