Sunday Match Rules for Season 2024
All Matches subject to Covid-19 rules and AT guidance ADAC club rules apply as all matches in the 2023 Season take place on ADAC waters All participating anglers must be current members of ADAC, and their membership books shall accompany the angler on the bankside All participating anglers must be in possession of their in-date rod license the number of which should be registered with the match organizers During the week prior to the Sunday match those anglers wishing to participate should endeavor to let the organizers know their wish to fish, as we are expecting more anglers than available pegs it will be decided on first come first booked on basis. The organizers will determine the number of available pegs the week prior to the match Priority will be given to the anglers who fished the match series in 2022. If any additional places are available these will be open to any other current members who wish to fish Once such notice has been given this will allow the organiser to confirm number and give notice that the match is fully booked to any members wishing to fish If the angler gives notice of intent to fish and then is absent on the day, they shall still be charged the peg fee The Draw will be made at 10am on the day of the match on the bankside of the venue Late anglers will be allocated a peg from the non-drawn peg numbers Matches will be fished over 5 hours, “all-in” approx. 11:00 “all-out “approx. 16:00 (both are not set as weather conditions and fishing quality to be considered on the day and a vote by participating anglers to alter start or finish times) Cost of Sunday matches will be £11.00, £10.00 of which will be prize pot £1.00 going to club funds The prize pot split will be determined on the day dependent on number of participants but will be First, Second & Third places (50% 30% 20%) respectively with two section winners of £10.00 taken out prior to the % being worked out once again dependent participating members on the day. If in the unlikely event of only 1 angler catching fish, then the winner takes all rule shall apply and so on to third place if applicable. Scoring the Matches This year we have allocated 7 Sunday matches on ADAC waters (list attached) The result will be taken over 5 of the 7 matches with the worst 2 results being dropped First place will be allocated 10 points, second 9 points so on down to ninth place who will get 2 points, anglers tenth and below will get 1 point even if they do not weigh in (highest score over 5= of 7 matches wins the club championship) (If angler numbers are lower than 10 participating on any given match, then the winner will still receive the 10 points and so on down) Anglers who do not fish will receive 0 points Weight will be in Lbs. & oz. In the event of a draw after the 7-match series then overall weight caught during the series will be used to calculate the winner. No artificial baits (plastic) allowed i.e., imitation maggots, casters, corn, bread, worms, no cat, or dog meats, no bloodworm, joker, Barbless hooks only, no tins allowed on the bankside (please place any tinned bates in suitable bait containers) Keep Nets to be in the water 15 minutes prior to all in 30Lb limit in each keep net Large carp to be weighed individually and not placed in keep nets where practicable Weight mans judgement is final.
